You can come and do some mods on mine Swannie
Use a tent to go away in...have done both The Cape and Simpson in a tent with our family, not as comfy as using a camper, but gets you out there still.
Gives you some time to work on/modify the 4x4 ready for the new camper
My days in tents are finished, never sleep well in them
sounds like a few more liquid refreshments of choice were required before bed time then...lol

Roof top tent. As comfortable to sleep in as a camper minus the modcons. Plus sometimes it's nice not to have to drag 1500kg behind you.
Ha, I'm lucky to get a good nights sleep at home on the innerspring...or camping on the innerspring in the camper......so unless there was a LOT of beer involved, anything but an innerspring for these oldish bones is not on !!
I’m a soft Queenslander so ours only gets used 8 or 9 months of the year anyway as in winter it just sits in the garage. As previously mentioned get all your jobs around home done so when replacement arrives and the weather warms up, there isn’t any excuses.
