forgot how shyte spewin feels

last 4 days ive had the bug "that's going around"....

started other night couldn't get warm, thought oh **** here we go..
heater, doona, trackies, t-shirt, jumper, sox and shivering enough to have sanded the walls in the house if you attached sandpaper...

Then the inability to hold anything down... although to this point the datehole doors have been secure..

But after a chunder, the feeling 100% fine again .. ???
So had a small dinner, but had that feeling it hadn't gone much past the back of my mouth...  and then middle of night away we went again..

its fawkin killllin me... went to dr, and theres a room full of germs coughin, sneezing, and sittin there with sick bags.. I just went home..

Probably carried to Melbourne during the week by cockroaches ;D

I've been unfortunate to have caught both salmonella poisoning and amoebic dysentery in my life.   They're good for about a kilo+ a day.  Just be no more than 32 secs from the toilet to avoid any accidents...

Thought my missus had the virus thats been doing the rounds, she went to docs and got told to go straight to hospital as she has appendicitis.
  We cant take a trick, me not long ago busting up my leg and now she is in hospital waiting got surgery :(

Be thankful that you have never had Swine Flu then. 5kgs in three days from both ends. Never ate a meal for that three days, go into coughing fits so bad that you just about pass out and then there was the pain of having every joint belted with a base ball bat continually.  ;D

stepson thought he had a stomach bug, on day three his ex called (Friday) asking him to mind the kids for the weekend and he said he would if she got him first appointment at her doctors (medical receptionist) - he was put str8 into hospital, ruptured appendix -  nearly died twice over the next two days with the theatre staff staying at the hospital overnight in case he relapsed. had he left it another 12 hours they could have done no more that dose him up with painkillers and put him in a nice comfy bed for the next 24 hours then off to the morgue.

severe abdominal pain is not the only symptom of appendix troubles!!

a month later his mate finds him leaning against his veranda post, left arm extended as high as he could reach - off to the hospital again, heart attack - now has stents as well and a huge stack of firewood I helped put together for him while he was infirmed - now its too warm up coffs and people aren't buying it...!!!

Very true, i dont go as far as the shorts but i do get out and do as much as i can outside just to get the body thermostat reset for winter.

Got swine flu in Malaysia a few years ago. .....     That is horrendous. ...    its like you loose about 3 weeks of your life. ......    I have found I almost never get sick the past few years (touch wood) by always washing my hands before touching any food...   eating lots of fruit and veg every day....   and avoiding people coughing and sneezing over or near me....    Its what happens to this fragile world when the next pandemic hits ...  that's the real worry. ....    Similarly science is already on their last line of semi effective antibiotics. ....  Wait til the amputations and deaths are as common as a change of shirt because of simple infections such as when you nick yourself working in the garden. ..
