Years since I have been to darlington beach area but Coffs is always good and handles the holiday crowds well . Same for Boony hills south enough of Port to be quite and relaxing, I perfer a tad further at laurieton but that's just a personal preference not anything else. You should have a great week good part of the world
Here for a good time, not a long time!

A heap of the families from my school are heading there. They go every year and love the place. Very child friendly

Good choices of caravan parks.  We have stayed in both in the last 6 months.  Good size sites and immaculate facilities.  The view from Bonny hills are fantastic and the managers are really friendly.  Have a relaxing time!  Hope your "wounds" heal quickly  ;D

Currently sitting in bed at Darlington Beach, great caravan park. The sites are huge, nice and close to the beach and the amenities are pretty good - even better if you have an ensuite site ;). Not really a fan of the pool area, can get busy / rough for a 3 year old so we tend to stick to the beach.

The locals are friendly, very friendly and will visit multiple times during your stay.

We are here until Tuesday and then head home, planning on coming back for easter next year.  Great easter activities for the kids and beers on tap for the dads...

Enjoy your break away.

Darlington's awesome, especially if your kids are pre-teen, and no sandflies!
This is us many years ago pre 4wd, pre CT , kids all growed up now
Just remember to bring a pushbike, it's a big place!
Don't forget to explore the hinterland
and the other beaches

Darlington - great spot- just make sure you mark all the kids gear (bikes and helmets) as it tends to get borrowed if they leave it near the pool (if you know what I mean)

Had a short stay next door at lorikeet and headed over to Darlington for a sticky beak. Looks good and if travelling with kids and you use all the facilities It looks like a nice place to stay.
In saying that we had just spent a week at treasure island and without taking into account treasure island was cheaper and in a much more desirable location I found the facilities were more inviting at treasure island such as the pools, slides, bar/bistro and water play ground.
But Darlington is on the beach and gave there own golf course if you're into that.
