Pilbara family
« on: April 01, 2015, 01:51:23 PM »
Finally a introduction as we are now officially my swaggers, well almost,we pick up our brand new Johnnos tourer in about 3 weeks.
Spent a little more $$ than we originally planned, been looking for about 7 months, went to the Perth caravan and camping show for 2 days with the wifey and looking very closely at both Aussie made and imported campers, we decided a walk-up style camper was what we wanted and quickly eliminated imports mainly because we live remote I couldn't live with the headache of trying to get something fixed on a cheaper imported camper, so willing to pay the extra $$

The main reason we wanted a walk-up style camper...........it made the wifey happy so I'm happy also it seemed to have more space available to pack stuff in for our family of 4 plus dog.
The reason we went with Johnnos was the awesome reputation they have among swaggers, and bloody hell seeing these things up close they are bullet proof! Perfect for dragging around the harsh Pilbara roads and the Kimberley's and the territory and the South West and Queensland and every-bloody-where can't wait.

Any way got a few mods planned a pull out style pantry, a good battery management system and prob some drawers in the walk up section. That's about it for now really the Johnnos are pretty Close to perfect for our needs, don't want to make things to complicated ( more things to go wrong).

I'll post up some pics when she arrives.
Hope to see ya out there!

This thread is wortheless without pics means exactly that

We all want to see some pics of the new toy mate

And yeah Jonnos is a good choice we rented one to do the red centre and had no issues at all i worked up your way for a couple of years and i recon any so called imported camper should be taken for a run on the Marble Bar road before it is allowed to be sold here
