It's certainly ugly, but hey, it's a Commodore, it'll never be a 'something'
Slapping stickers on a car and calling it a Sandman, is exactly what GMH did in the 70's.
AFAIK, the only difference between a Kingswood van and a Sandman, HQ-HX, was factory gauges, wheels, floor shift, bucket seats and stickers for Sandman. All bar the stickers were options for Kingswood.
The Sandman was just a commercial vehicle with a 'Sports Package.' A set of wheels, seats, gauges and stickers.
Same with Drifter and Sundowner.
