Newbie from Hervey Bay
« on: March 05, 2015, 06:01:34 PM »
Hello all.  About a year ago I was given (hand-me-down from my parents) an old aussie swag camper to 'play' with.  A 1990 model according to the plate - no built-in kitchen and no access to the interior when the camper is closed.  Mods so far have been to add 12 volt power for lights etc and to raise the bed to allow for storage underneath rather than on top.  Next mod is to fit a water tank & pump in place of the existing pvc pipes so I am sure to have some questions re plumbing for the experts some time soon.

I haven't done much camping since I was a kid (a very loooooong time ago) but I have really enjoyed the few trips I have done in the last 12 months.  I have to say I am in awe of those with the nous to start from scratch and build a complete camper - reading some of the build threads has been a real eye-opener.
