Thanks Mr McGirr!

Our family is planning a six week trip to the Cape leaving the ACT in late June.  This is our first trip to the tip and I was finding it a little difficult to differentiate between fact and fiction and routes to make the most of our trip.

I sent Mark a PM with a simple enquiry after reading some of his experiences in the area. I only expected a simple answer, which I received .....along with his mobile number. Wow.

Mate a big thanks for giving up a fair wack of your Sunday morning talking to a guy you've never met. Mark helped me tweek our itinerary and I have no doubt our trip will be far more enjoyable as a result.

I was also interested to hear about his move to the red centre!

Many thanks mate :cup:

Cheers,

Disco teddy. ( Jason ).

Never met the bloke either, but never heard a bad word about him, and honestly I wouldn't expect any less from him... but he could be bored in his 40ft container house at the moment :)

Jason it was a pleasure to help with your upcoming Cape Trip. Always happy to assist. Yes Bird living in a 40 ft container gives me plenty of time to chat  ;D not much else to do as a tour of the place only takes 10min but heading to Alice this weekend.

I'd put up with a container for a week to get around Ayres Rock and surrouds for the week.

X3,  me too! His info made our trip 10 times what it would have been and gave me confidence to see places easily without  overstepping my 4wding ability.
