Not really any help but a funny story (sort of he was a bit silly)...
I was lucky enough to travel to Antarctica nearly 10 years ago, Brother in Law came too. Left from bottom of South America across the Drake Passage. BIL who suffers from sea sickness saw the doc on board, she gives him 6 tablets...strict instructions take 2 with tea, 2 in the morning and 2 later tomorrow. Crossing was expected to take nearly 2 days. Silly BIL had tea, took all 4 washed down with a few beers, then didn't decided to take the last two. He slept for 18 hours straight, woke ate a little bit of lunch/dinner then slept again till the next morning, missing the first iceberg!! Tablets were funergan (sic) based. Doc wasn't too happy, on the way home she only gave him the 2 to start...Smart lady. Trip home had lots of people throwing up as we hit gale force winds. will find the picture of a wave hitting the top deck 3 stories high!!
When we fish in Bass Straight and feel sick, best thing is to just bring it all up!
