Our New Camper
« on: February 10, 2015, 09:27:22 PM »
Hello All,  Finally after hunting around and investigating many different makes and models of Off Road Camper's "Yehhh" we've got one, we were all set to purchase a new Johnno's Deluxe Camper when we saw an add for a 2012 Vacation Off Road Camper, literally just around the corner from us, it was owned by an elderly couple and in excellent condition ticking all the boxes that we were looking for in a Camper and of cause the right price  ;D ;D.  All of this was finalised and settled just before Xmas.  So we hooked up the Camper and headed off to Flinders Rangers SA not realising that when you get to the border they take all your fruit and veg i mean everything >:(, anyway had a fabulous few days at Flinders very hot though then packed up the camper and headed up the Barrier Highway towards Broken Hill and outback NSW, the temp up there was 40 degrees plus, we cruised around for a few more days exploring the area then traveled towards home in Victoria, after a couple of days at home we headed up to the Mitchell River Region set up Camper had 2 beautiful days of sunshine then it rained, torrential rain for 2 days solid non stop, the Camper stood up to the challenge well it was saturated but we were dry, so the camper had been through all seasons from very hot to cool and very wet a great test for us all  ;D ;D.
Hope to meet up with some Myswagers on upcoming trips.

Wayne and Alison

Ohhhhh here are some pics.

First let me say welcome and congratulations on your purchase.
Pity about the food being taken at the border but sounds like you still had a good time.
By the way great looking camper you have there
Hope you post some more pictures and stories detailing all the goodies you have with your new toy

G'day Wayne and Alison.  Welcome to myswag.

Congrats on the Vacation Camper  :cup: They are a great CT, just unfortunate that the owners had to shut up shop last year. But I do know they are still doing canvas work if you need anything fixed.

Happy camping
