I had a similar situation the other day. I was waiting for an order from an online pet supplies store, and after a month I contacted via online chat, to see what happened to my order. I waited a month because I knew there was likely to be delays, it usually takes about 3 days.

They said they'd resend the order via another courier. They gave me the tracking number and all the couriers site says is that it was in transit. I said it may be just as easy to leave it with the original courier, if another courier was going to take just as long. They said no, it should be quicker.

I waited another three weeks, and my dog was now due for his monthly worm and flea pill. So I thought bugger, I'll just get a single pill from the local pet supplies. Nup, only have packs of three, smallest they have. Paid $73.00 odd for three pills. The next day the order arrived, with the pack of six pills for $79.00 odd.

Tip from my vet, we have 4 dogs ranging from a small terrier 3kg wet, to a Johnston bulldog just shy of a cow at 45kg with a couple of bullys mid range.  I buy the chewable tablets for double the weight of the dogs and cut them in half.  Works out for tablets to do all 4 at just over half cost per dose.

Bit harsh cutting the dogs in half to save money🤪
We've waited 45 years to do this. Now our life will be complete!!

I used to do that with another brand I used to get. But yeah, don't know why I didn't think of that when I ordered the Nexgard.

Bit of an out there, but I'll ask ...

Lady on another forum is saying that her daughter is going to be needing some accommodation:

__________________________

"My daughter contracted to build a house in March. Sold hers to an investor to rent back. House was supposed to start in June, delayed until September due to materials shortages and covid lockdowns.

House still not started. Builder can't get timber for the frame so he subcontracted a few jobs to a steel framing company, charged her extra for the privilege but apparently they ate 75% of the cost. As of yesterday only the site cut is done and power is on.

And to add insult to injury, the "investor" isn't an investor at all and the buyer wants to move in. As of 19 December she and her two children are essentially homeless. There are absolutely no affordable short term rentals anywhere since she's paying mortgage AND rent, AirBNB is out of the question, and she has to pay huge dollars to store her household goods for the duration of the build. There's no guarantees about completion. She has a family friend to stay with over Christmas and January but that friend is nearly two hours away and come Feb when school goes back they will have to stay here for who knows how long."
__________________________

I suggested she may be able to borrow a caravan, possibly even paying a peppercorn rent ???

She's in Geelong, so wondering if there may be any Swaggers in that area who may be able to help, for a "few" months in the New Year  ???

Thanks! ;D

Ok, I just watched a driver, delivering a poly water tank, drive down our grass back lane(it is as wet as a Shag, this is where the stormwater, from their roofs flow to) to drop off a 5k lt tank, the tank on the truck wasn't for this drop off.
Got himself bogged real good, even tho he could of stopped 60 meters away on a gravel road.
2 hours later, a local with his tractor pulls him out, didn't stop, just pi55ed off up the road.
What is wrong here?

How long until it kicks off?

Satellite images show China built mock-ups of US warships
Beijing: Satellite images show China has built mock-ups of a US Navy aircraft carrier and destroyer in its north-western desert, possibly as training targets for a future naval clash as tensions rise between the nations.

China has massively upgraded its military in recent years, and its capability and intentions are increasingly concerning to the United States as tensions rise over the South China Sea, Taiwan and military supremacy in the Indo-Pacific.

Since when is there no reverse parking as part of the driving test to get your license anymore?
Lady at work - neither of her kids had to do it and one of the useless ****s from work never had to do it either... .

All 3 of them only had to do a 3 point turn...

No wonder the country is full of Shit drivers.

Apparently it’s not necessary as there is always a spot that you can park diagonally in by driving in forwards.
And then be oblivious of all other vehicles and pedestrians as you reverse out blindly into oncoming traffic

NSW The same, Nephew is about to do his P's, next month, Covid crap and sh1$t he's been waiting for 3 months, tell me today he doesn't have to do one for the test.
I've been getting him to practise while I've had him a trial for an apprenticeship.

Another friend told me, their daughter(P plates) was fined at a roundabout for not indicating correctly, they question the officer why she was fined, yet other drivers infront  weren't.
Ya going to love this, :)

I never did a reverse park until I was in my 30s. I reckon there would be a significant number on here who never did one for their test. Had a bloody hill start though  ;D
