With anything that uses normal batteries, you can bet your bottom $, that when you need them, they'll be flat
A rechargeable one like X posted, or this: would be much betterer (as long as you remember to charge it every once in a while!)
Yea I'd agree with that... thus why I was looking originally for the old 12v Versalite... they were amazing - but as anything decent, gone and replaced with cheap chinese Shit

Trying to avoid the need to charge - as it would be like batteries - flat when you needed the bastard ! FWIW - this is for daughters car incase anything happens. Shes only on her Learners, but I want to set it up safe and right early and show her how to change tyres, check fluids etc.
