Whats your worst experience with Aus post delivery times?
Small box of car parts shipped from Japan to Sydney.

Japanese post; just under 3 days from the factory to Sydney Airport.
Australia post; over a week from Mascot to Parramatta (29km away).

And another,
Mailed 2 normal envelopes from Brisbane to Darwin, 1 was urgent so paid extra for express postage, the other just normal service.
Normal post took 4 days, express post took 8 days...

I’m getting worried that there’s only a handful of us left on here that can actually go off-road with our trailers these days.... ;)
Not going there, 1/. because I can't afford it and 2/. because I can't afford it.
Besides I can go places wobbly boxes can't.  :cup: :cup:

I've wondered if one of those 'hybrid" cars were in a prang and was written off, whether the battery pack could be used for something else, like a BIG aux battery pack

Maybe yes,    https://www.cefc.com.au/case-studies/relectrify-technology-brings-new-life-to-old-lithium-ion-batteries/

Not sure how it would go in a camper though  ???

I have looked into it a bit out of curiosity. There are people who are already DIY doing it, computers etc also use similar cell's and people have been recycling these for DIY electric vehicles, home battery banks etc and have been doing it for years. Doing it in RV's is just starting to gain a bit of traction now though.

Here is someone discussing putting a battery out of a Tesla in their RV. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g_cC0NKvCDY the biggest drawback is that Li-ion cells don't really suit traditional 12v setups, 24v is much more suitable for them, this can be got around with voltage converters to drop the power down to 12V and solar panels configured to charge the higher voltage relatively easily, but it's not a cheap/easy exercise to be able to charge from the vehicle.

Due to the relatively small amount of EV's we have here, I think currently finding used EV batteries would be pretty hard. There is however quite a few ex-laptop, power tools etc cell's available that you could use to DIY one, similarly to how people have used them to make home battery banks. There are websites, forums and plenty of youtube clips that go into depth about how to do it for these purposes. Here is an article about one Aussie guy who did it. https://www.abc.net.au/news/2017-09-01/aussie-blokes-diy-tesla-powerwall-made-from-scrap/8863406

they showed footage of him the other day turning his back to someone mid game and doing his under arm serve etc....showed his heart just isn’t in the game I said at the time. He’d be better off taking a break from the game then acting like the knob he’s currently being.

I don't think his heart has been in it since he turned professional and realised he can earn just as much money being a flog as he could being a sportsman  and I use that term very, very loosely.

Why bother trying?

https://www.sportskeeda.com/tennis/nick-kyrgios-net-worth

He has an estimated net worth of $10 million, which includes his luxurious home in Canberra, Australia. He has a small car collection also which comprises brands such as BMW, Mercedes Benz and Range Rover.

Nick has won $5,148,848 as prize money, a number which is increasing rapidly as he plays. Nick has a bad boy image, thanks to his on and off-court behavior. Nevertheless, he manages to earn approximately $4 million per year from his game and several endorsements.

If he can't be bothered trying cause he thinks his s**t don't stink, ban him from the game. No competitions, no sponsorship's, no mega $$$$'s, no interest in him. Then lets see if he cares. Problem is he has that much now, he really doesn't give a f**k. Personally I think if he got run over by a bus we would be better off.

It's fine for this kind of behaviour in sport, just can't post about the Bible on you personal media account. That's a sackable offence.

Read a post today of someone staying overnight at a spot, and couldn't wait to get up and go the next morning....SHE claimed a feeling of ghost's and spirit's all night
Often see posts on Facesooks of women wanting to know if there're any good charlatan's psychic - medium - etc around

MY question is.....is there a correlation between these scammer's and the more nutter sex of the human race?
