Anyone with a Truma Air Con??
« on: January 14, 2015, 05:26:17 PM »
Does anyone on here have a Truma air con that is fitted to a Jayco camper? I am trying to find out the height of the air con to see if the whole unit will fit under my roller door in the shed.

I don't have a truma but have an aircommand. It fits under my panel door in a standard garage

I think it should fit, I have a shed out the back which has a roller door 2210mm high. The Outback Eagle is 1910mm so I hope the air con is less than 300mm....

I am in the middle of sorting out extras for a new Eagle so it's more the fact I need to know before ordering it. I'm waiting on Jayco to get back to me with the height but thought i'd check on here in the meantime.

Its always good to check with people that actually have them as the people who sell them will give you
The measurements straight out of the catalogue and don't always take into consideration separate parts or fittings to fit which may increase the heights.

Plus I am reluctant to tell them that I have 2200mm to play with because their answer will be, "yeah mate she'll be right, it'll fit in no worries"

The reason I went with air command was specifically the height ( its the lowest available)

Aircommand height 205mm
Truma Height 248mm

Don't tell them anything, ask them how big it is when fitted..

2200mm Height play or 220mm height

2200mm all up I should say, closer to 2210mm. The Eagle is 1910mm so I have about 290-300mm to fit the air con. If its 248mm then that will be perfect.
