The Perfect Game

Use to play pool most nights years ago, went in many comps around the north coast of NSW, awesome to watch someone have a great game.
Never got into Snooker, even tho I played many games of pool at RSL Clubs and would get my eye in on a snooker table.
Admired players who could walk around a table and own it.

Love snooker, and pool.  Really admire goos players. Mates and I used to play it regularly at two snooker parlours in Woolloongabba, Brisbane far too many years ago.  Nothing like a few beers, couple of hot pies while playing snooker with your mates....     Not to mention the old Kelly's Pool at 20 cents a pop.  :cup:  Life was so uncomplicated.    Kevin

Sure was mate  ;D
Happy Hour went for two hours, petrol was 45 cents a liter, your pay packet was yellow and the tax was taken out, 380 bucks cash in it  ;D
A pub crawl was a typical Friday arvo, even tho there was only three pubs in town  ;D

Nice! My hubby played competition snooker during his University stint up around Lismore and Ballina, and the winning hampers kept us in toilet paper for years ;D

Saw Eddie Charlton live in the Rockhampton rsl beat 4 blokes in one session, all at once.

Even got a cue ball signed by him.  Top bloke to boot...

Enjoyed many a game of snooker in my younger yr's at the local rissole...then the women kicked up a stink, and the board in their wisdom made it so women were allowed in to play...then they banned the male conversation because the women were embarrassed by such words...the game lost it's magic for me then   >:(

Yeah, I remember Lismore & Ballina had some big comps, a couple of the Byron guys would travel over to try they luck there.
