Just reading through some info, it appears that if you don't have the genuine reason as target shooting (with a club membership) you are not allowed to shoot clay targets on private property

That's what I had been doing Swannie, just thought our 8 acres might be big enough to hunt on. Last time I just went into their Benalla office and got one over the counter.Wonder can you have more than 1 genuine reason?
I think you can, jump onto vic police, download a firearms form and have a look at the optionsSwannie
If it's only a renewal and nothing has changed ( NSW) you don't have to fill out genuine reason as it's already on there.
Has anyone ever got an unregistered firearm registered? Is it a hard process?
