Hi from Gladstone QLD
« on: October 14, 2014, 10:49:05 AM »
Hi all, my name is Les.
This is my first post to the site. We have just bought our first camping trailer. It's and MDC Tbox v4 and we pick it up in about 2 weeks. It's getting fitted out with dual 100Ah batteries which will be used for running an Evakool 60lt fridge and some LED lights. Should be more than enough power to run that for a couple of days, Also got a 140w solar panel kit to top up during the day.
The tow vehicle is a 2008 Mitsubishi Pajero turbo diesel. It's got bull bar and spotties, and I just got a set of BF Goodrich AT's fitted to it. Ive also run 2 core 16mm2 cable to an anderson plug to charge the trailer batteries whilst driving. Next up will be a UHF.
Any way I'm enjoying reading through the site at the moment so see ya round
Les
