I doubt you'll find to many negative reviews about Aussie Swag, we nearly bought one when we were looking for a camper.

it was a flip of the coin between that or a KK, the KK won for no outstanding reason really. I would be happy to have owned either to be honest. I had a mate looking for a camper at the same time who is in the panel beating industry, he pointed out to me the slightly better finish in looks of the paint and welds overall of the KK at a camping show when we were looking at both, and that's about the only reason we went that way. It wasn't like the finish on the AS was bad, just the KK we looked at when at the show was slightly better and that's all we could pick on between the 2 makes...nit picking really

They're both very well finished. If I was buying, the decision would come down to preferences in features, kitchen layout, etc.

IMO, a glossy show-car type of finish is fairly irrelevant on something that will have rocks thrown at it.........

Yes KK is on shopping list but think kitchen concept on AS a bit more user friendly and like the ensuite up at shower controls away from rear tent area with AS. Most CP around are just adding the ensuite to hard floor area which IMO limits use of this area especially if you stick a porta pottie in ensuite!!

I looked at both also and you couldn't go wrong with either. I also went for the KK and am about to buy another.

For me it came down to kitchen layout also. I preferred the KK layout as I didn't like the idea of the cooking area folding alongside the canvas tent and being directly under the bedroom window. But really there is nothing in it except personal choice.

When it came to upgrading I haven't looked at or considered another brand as I have been really happy with the KK.

I am sure my decision would have been similar if I origanally went with AS.

should have worded my reply better...nothing to do with "glossy show-car finish", more to do with the odd sharp edge we found on some welds. It was 4 years ago we looked at them, I can't recall exactly what we found as it was a very minor issue....like I said, we were nit picking as they are both good units.

We have had two Aussie Swags and they are one very impressive camper.

Spent hours and hours and hours researching before buying the first one, and when comparing the two, the Aussie Swag won for us.  The second purchase needed no comparisons!

The beuty about the AS's is if you dont want to fold the kitchen around alongside the camper you can still use it just sticking straight out to cook then fold alongside camper when done. Iv never had issues or smells or anything affect the camper from cooking alongside it. very vesatile kitchen design.

For me, if I was in the market between Aussie and KK, it would be Aussie on the fact the kitchen swings along side it, I like that design

Yep.

The KK kitchen doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

We've got one and love it. Can't find a fault with it!  The kitchen is always the talking point when people see it.

Even though it cuts the living area under the awning in two...??

 A silly set-up IMO.

not sure what you mean?  We don't find it cuts the space with the kitchen against the side of the trailer.
