Anyone seen one of these?
« on: October 04, 2014, 05:21:42 PM »
Hi all,

I recently snapped this bracket on my camper that holds my LED light pole in place and have no idea where to start looking for a replacement as this was fitted by the previous owner.

Hopefully you'll get the gist of what the bracket was like prior to breaking from the photos. The bracket was about 60mm long and 20mm wide and the light pole sat in the middle and just flipped over the cooking area on the camper and flipped back when not in use.

So ... anyone seen one of these or know where to start looking?

Cheers,
Jason

I'd try a boat/marine shop. It looks like a bracket for a bimini top. Maybe even an upholstery shop might have them?

Cheers guys. I thought it looked like a marine type thing, might call into one and show them the photos (or take the left over pieces) and see what they can come up with. Wondering if it might also be as easy as going to Bunnings, might be something similar there.

Thanks again ;)

You can get them in stainless at a marine place.
Bit harder to break.

No doubt about it, you're all bloody legends.

Thanks guys, not being a boaty type person I really had no idea, I did have an inkling it was marine related though.

Thanks again, really appreciate it, and will definitely check out the stainless type ;)
