Interesting time for the Jocks.

There is a lot to consider here, and it doesn't only affect Britain

Be interesting to see how far they take it if they go YES.

Own defence force, own mail service, own currency?, be a hell of a lot of setting up to do.

I think they should stay at this time. They can talk all they like about how well we and NZ did however Aussie is a prosperous country and Scotland is resting on the oil. Look at the cost of setting up the banking structure and other fundamentals, it will be costly and I'm just not sure they can afford it.

Anyway just my opinion - will be interesting to see won't it.

They still can't play Rugby no matter what  ;D

How appropriate that there is a Cameron in #10 arguing "NO".
Still, I guess a 'real' Scot wouldn't have taken on that address!
Please no hate mail, their are Cameron's in my extended family...
The sasenachs made a huge error not offering maximum devolution early on, but that is just a function of their arrogance, which may come back to bite them.
The Celt in me says that 'Perfidious Albion' may just keep its grip on the Saltire.
This won't be the last we hear of independence, and not just for Scotland.
Wouldn't surprise me if the next century sees the "Union" reduced to the Home Counties and old Ian P's 'Bowler Hat and umbrella brigade'. ... At least the 'no' campaign had the sense to tell the sectarians to 'go away and have sex' when they offered to run some rallies for them... Irony of ironies, they could possibly have benefited the 'YES!' side!

listening to some interviews on the TV today, it seems wise old heads realise this..

but the youth want "to control their own destiny"...

There only seems to be one loud voice pushing for it, bet he expects to be the first leader - laugh if he isn't !!! LOL
