Watching this mini series on this place, its hard to believe this place existed.. I mean you can understand the one with the priests rooting kids in Perth, but this dude in charge is just insane... and all the blokes working for him

interesting listening to the actual blokes who were in this place being so open about what happened, and how they were treated and done to them...

as there is a Westbrook near us and the SWMBO's father was actually a screw at a correction facility there for some time, if the series is about a prison type of environment, it wasn't a very nice place if we're talking about the same thing

Westbrook is just outside of Toowoomba, my grandma used to tell me when I was a kid if I wasn't good she would send me to Westbrook.
