Cheap white goods?
« on: August 17, 2014, 08:37:22 PM »
Our chest freezer has died so I have started looking around for a replacement.

There is a couple of shops in Brisbane selling scratch and dent seconds at well below retail of Harvey norman/ect.
Has anyone had any experience buying from these places? I think warrantee may be the only concern.

A few years ago our 20 year old kleenmaid top loader washing machine died and as kleenmaid had gone broke we got a Maytag from the crowd you have linked  to Brisbane White Goods at Pickering St, I think we even bought additional warranty from them, am still happy with the unit.

If you want new, I second the appliances online recommendation. Have personally bought TV and wash machine from them - very cheap and good service. Will take your old unit away also at no charge, working or not. Also take all packaging. Delivery Blokes give you a call in advance also.

They're only on the Brisbane southside, but we've bought a few things from these guys (or used them to price match)
