A Day on the Green - Peter Lehmann Wines - November 2014
« on: August 14, 2014, 09:56:10 AM »
Anyone in SA going?

My wife and I have been going to these for years now. Always have a great time. The lineup this year is pretty good.

A Day on the Green - Classic Hits all Day - Peter Lehmann Wines - Barossa Valley

I've been to this venue before and out of all of the day on the green venues in SA, I think this one is the best of the lot.

Gee , that line up brings back some memories from when we were in Melbourne in the 80's. Still got some of there ....records :-[  Pseudo Echo actually played a local club in Albury last weekend.

Actually looking at the Nagambie concert which would be closest to us , they have Barnesy , Mossy , The Living End , Troy Cassar-Daley and Mahalia Barnes , which would be pretty wild.

Yes, Pseudo Echo have played at quite a few DOTG events.

Mi-sex though, wow, I didn't think they were together still. I saw them at the Crosskeys Hotel in Essendon in 1982 before Steve Gilpin died as a consequence of a car crash. The place was packed.

Not really, how many events can you get into and be entertained for 6+ hours for under $100?

I went to Rochford in Vic last year and have bought my tickets for Sting and Paul Simon somewhere near Geelong for Feb next year.

Pricey, but what a day out. No drunk kids. Just adults on picnic rugs drinking good wine and enjoying great music

I'm a member, I only pay $84.90 for general admission. General admission is best anyway. You take your big @rse camp chair and picnic blanket and hamper with your own food and sit in comfort, unlike paying for silver or above and sitting on those crappy plastic chairs for 6 hours.
