Found a great frypan for the butane stove
« on: August 12, 2014, 06:31:18 PM »
Well I am in the process of purchasing some spun steel pans ..which will still happen for 8 week trip next year but during my search i found these.

Now I have the U-BUTE which is a twin burner and plate but i have found on the boat it is hard to get a fry-pan and pot on the burners ect so have gone for 2 x single burners.

I found these at masters for $10

  https://www.masters.com.au/product/900016247/campmaster-cast-iron-fry-pan-240mm

I got 2 of the flat plate versions .. will be great for on the boat or out camping when i want a good solid heat for a nice steak .

Just thought I would share as for $10 thought it was a bargain and a great solution for the butane stoves.

8 left on shelve at masters Morayfield  ;D

Nice find, I have a 'Gasmate' branded version, it cooks really well and holds the heat too.

Great little plate, I've had one for about 6 years mines the flat one. Lives in my ute with butane burner.   :cup:

Edit, not sure if it's the same brand but looks very similar

You can get them without the "ribs" as well which is great for eggs and stuff.

I think there about $14 at BCF.

Cheers Nomad.

They do look got jet. I also like that it is square. I hate round things when packing and these look like they would fit well on even the 2 burner job.

Yep I have this one, especially made for those butane stoves. Folds up and fits inside the case and when used has little corners welded on to hold it firmly on the butane grille. Exy at $40 but great.

Here for a good time, not a long time!

Where from? We don't get a lot of the stores referred to in this post.

Yep Alan's link or the link quoted. They do a lot of camping shows too but guess they don't come up Nth West?  Some hillbilly stuff Used to be avaiable through Rays, before supercheap took them over.

Malcolm douglas was a big user of there camp ovens and frypans, great quality gear.
Here for a good time, not a long time!
