I've decided to outsmart the gubment and grow my own firewood. It's early days but looks promising.

Had a bottle of 2,4,D given to me, once,  to clear some lantana...That worked... >:D

All you descendants of convicts would be out in your swimmers gathering firewood as it floats by wouldn't you? We Crowies reckon if you stick it up in the ceiling it might light a warm fire cum winter 2020 but we'll be waiting at the Goolwa barrages for our share.

Nearly have next winter's shed stack full. Couple more to split and these two sheds will be full and dry out nicely over summer.
