van vandalised again
« on: July 16, 2014, 06:05:26 PM »
Hi every one, have had a few problems with someone drawing on van at night with permanent marker pen. I am pretty sure who is doing it but I need to catch them in the act. was thinking about parking car out front and adding a camera to the back window, would one of those new cameras that you mount on the dash do the trick. I was hopeing to let it record over night rather than using a camera with a motion detector. I would hate to get a picture of someone only walking past and accusing them of doing damage, if I get a recording I can take it to the police. (after I give the dickhead a flogging).

love the aussie long weekend. sorry boss se you next week.

I have a DVR camera that runs off batterys and takes a movie of any activity.
It is motion activated, but you can just ignore the innocent pictures and use the guilty ones.
It is really good quality picture and works well in the dark.

It was worth the money.

One of my brothers works for the local council. He said they have a good way to stop the dbags using textas on equipment. They give the stuff a light coat of WD40 and then textas won't work on them. He said it works well as the kids normally think the texta isn't working and throw it on the ground and walk away!
