The zip on the camper trailer cover broke on the Cape Trip this year and have decided to get a new one made. Its standard 7 x 4 top and attached on a sail track.

Any suggestions where I can get one made at a reasonable place.

Called them and they want $250 just to put a new zip on. I expect to pay around the $400 to $450

There's a fella just off Toogood Rd Bayview hts, he has his workshop at home, he's fixed m'bike seats for me and couldn't complain about the price and quality of work..... I'm back home in a few days, i'll get his details for u....... can't promise he'll do it, but can't imagine he wouldn't..... when I was there I seen he had some heavy vinyl and canvas etc........

Any chance you could post up whether he's a goer please, Mark? We're thinking we'd like a taller cover for the Tambo. Ours doesn't have a zip, so should be a bit cheaper.

I also seem to remember there's a canvas guy in Mareeba. I should be driving past on Sunday so will try and take note of the name.

Give Tambo a call, should be able to help you out

I've had a few bit fixed up lately and happy with the results.

I am getting a new one this week for my Lifestyle - by the Lifestyle team. It comes in an extra large height as an option so we can keep more stuff on the bed whilst on a trip to save time packing/unpacking. Sounds pretty useful that.

$350 for the cover (unfitted of course)
