Where to buy a fridge slide in Darwin?
« on: July 10, 2014, 11:10:16 AM »
After some local knowledge on where to buy a fridge slide in Darwin.

My home made drawer slides appear to have bent under the weight and I either need to get the extra heavy duty lockable slides or an official style to strap into my drawer set up.

Any thoughts?

Murray Oakley on Stuart highway at winnellie carry them most of the time, BCD don't carry stock, ARB and TJM carry their own brands, oppy lock might have them. If you are just chasing heavy slides drop in to UES on the Stuart highway winnellie as well, they have some rippers there.

RADO refrigeration on Winnellie road are repairers and Weaco dealers, that's were we got ours from and they were cheaper than BCF and camping world

Thanks Myst, we stopped at Murray Oakley and were quoted $440. Ran outside for a few measurements came back in and clarified the price. The boss overheard and said I'll do it for $399. SOLD

Thanks to everyone else, we did try UES, but they didn't have my size and it would take a week to fly them in

It was hot and stressful installing it this arvo. Bloody strange hole sizes to bolt it down, all done now and working well, although not locking out which I think is due to me bottom plate(piece of wood) not being dead flat. Certainly locks in though and SWMBO says it is a lot easier
