Extension of Manufacture's Warranty

Hi Guys and Girls

I am in the process of establishing a reliable network, that will give owners of camper trailers and caravans the ability, to Extend the manufacturer's warranty! This will be done over 1,2,3 and 5 years from date of purchase of warranty, and in two groups, less than 5 years old and less than 10 years old.
You will also be able to include appliances such as fridge, stove, rangehood, microwave, air-conditioner, hot water unit, water pumps, and tv, only if they are fitted by the manufacturer.

What i am trying to do is gauge the level of interest in this product, so i can get a brilliant discount for you all. I understand most camper places offer a 12 month factory warranty. With the above mentioned, cover would start from the day you purchase the warranty. It will also be transferrable with the unit.

I would be interested in something like this for the goldstream on the proviso it is not like one of those stupid car yard extended warrenty things where you can only get it serviced at the dealership you got the car from as it end up being a pain in the ass

I understand most camper places offer a 12 month factory warranty.

All retailers have to give a 12 month warranty under consumer law.

To maintain the regular Maintenance Schedule with a Qualified Service Agent in accordance to the Maintenance Schedule shown on page 6(a) at intervals not
to exceed twelve (12) months or 10,000km from the cover commencement date, whichever occurs first. An allowance of no more than 30 (thirty) days or 500 (Five
Hundred) kilometres beyond the stated intervals will be accepted. You have the flexibility to have your vehicle serviced at a licenced workshop of your choice.

How will you track the kilometers travelled when trailers don't have odometers.

MDS69- kilometres are not recorded. The warranty will be available in 2 groupings. Less than 5 years old and less than 10 years old. Servicing will not be like a dealer. Once a year annual inspection from a licenced mechanic. Bearings and brakes will not be covered. These are consumables. Basically if you get a new trailer for instance, everything will be covered as per manufacturer from day of delivery. taking note even they will not cover zips and bearings and the like. The warranty will cover everything else the same as the manufacturer.

but
what happens with say an extended warrenty with say a stove. Because as we know some manufactures install top quality units and others basic units- would the warrenty still work the same ??

This will also now be able to cover camper trailers.

Woolgoolgaoffroad - you have the option to add specific units i.e appliance cover for a small cost up to the value of $1000 per item listed in your warranty.

Ok Guys and Girls

I have finalised pricing for all extended manufactures warranty. This will be in 2 groups for you to choose one.

C1 – Camper and caravans less than 10 years of age at time of sale of warranty.
The maximum claim limit for any one claim is up to $2,500.00 (Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars) per claim.
C2 – Camper and caravans less than 5 years of age at time of sale of warranty.
The maximum claim limit for any one claim is up to $10,000.00 (Ten Thousand Dollars) per claim.

You will then get to choose how long you would like your cover to go from, 12 months, 24 months, 36 months or 60 months.

You also get to choose whether you would like your appliances covered. These can only be covered if they were purchased with the unit at time of sale from your manufacturer as part of your complete package. i.e if you bought an inverter after you picked up your camper it will not be covered.
