Naked wines
« on: June 21, 2014, 07:03:05 PM »
I've been an "angel" on Naked wines http://www.nakedwines.com.au/ for a few years now.

No its not some sick twisted site! google it and find out.
The reason for my post is that I know a few wine lovers on here and this site is fantastic.
Yes it has the friends offer email etc etc, but I don't give even half a rats rectum about that.
I do however like to share with myswag mates.

The wines are great, the delivery is SUPER fast and there is no gimmick or catches. You pay $40 per month into an account that builds up (yeah right, like I don't spend more than that weekly!)
You can withdraw at anytime and get a full refund. You can put it on hold or pay more or just buy direct.
It is really good with really good wine.

No affiliation etc etc, just a very very satisfied customer.
Perhaps if anyone is interested, let them know you heard about it on myswag and share it around.

I'm very particular to the Liz Richardson range, but there is heaps to choose from at a very good price.
Check it out, then buy some and bring down to my property to thank me!  ;D

Seriously though, just good wine at a good price, delivered free and fast.

Cheers
Brian

If I end up on the drunk thread I'll be straight on to you Pal.

The wine rack was looking a bit bare, so I just joined up, got a $20 voucher  and picked up their 12 mixed wines offer for $45 delivered.

I've checked, and I'm not legally liable.

I was drunk at the time!!!!

You are my new best mate! Thanks for the heads up.

The 15 mixed bottles for the introductory price of $49 delivered arrived in three days.

A few of them are missing now!

Like Liz Richardson's offerings, there were three of them in the box, along with a couple of Rabbit & Spaghetti's which were impressive.

Currently sampling an Obelisk Cab Merlot, pretty good as well.

I'm not an Angel yet, but as soon as I am I aim to order a few from Jen Pfeiffer and  Sam Plunkett who both hail from well known winemaking families.

A great concept, and I've found out since that two others that work in the same floor as me are already Angels. For those not in the know, you become an Angel by paying $40 a month to Naked Wines which you then use down the track to purchase wine from independent wineries who are members of the group.

A plus is that the funds you provide is actually used by Naked Wines to support small winemakers to develop their product without the worry of having to market it against the big players in the business.

Wife has been ordering from them for about a year now. Don't know how good it is though, I don't drink anymore. Can't be that good, she says I still look the same regardless of how much she has had to drink.

Had a bottle of merlot last night - "engine room"

Quite nice.
I tried the Liz Richardson, but it wasn't my favourite. Her Shiraz variety is much better.

I'm heading down to our property on the weekend and its predicted to get down to -2..............
I'll be in the swag so I might need to cuddle up to a few bottles before climbing in.................

Perhaps something stronger may be in order. Bourbon? Rum? Stay at Dalton pub............ ;D
