New Member with a Castaway Camper
« on: May 12, 2014, 05:06:32 PM »
Hi, been on this site for around 6 months now, finally purchased a camper trailer second hand.  In the 2 months we have had it we have had a trip down to Lennox Head and Darlington Park twice.  Its a Castaway Camper, 10 yrs old, only used twice, the thing is like brand new when you open it up.  Came with water tank, tail gate kitchen, toolbox and a few other bits and pieces....I'm very impressed with it since I only paid $3700.  I've done a few things to it, made some LED Lights and put a tail gate bike carrier on, thanks to the help of my neighbour.  There are a few more mods to come but all in good time.
We have been camping in tents our whole lives and I must say its good to finally have a camper trailer.  Looking forward to getting out there and doing a lot more camping with my brother (streetkid) and family and friends.

Hey Street Camper looks a solid camper unit.  Is this a two man job to put up?  I have a little MDC off road camper with 9' canvas that gives me a solid workout when setting up!  Great looking camp spot by the way.
