Let it Snow
« on: May 03, 2014, 01:50:25 PM »
So it is very early May and we have already had snow in Orange! It didn't settle on the ground but did fall quite heavily at times.

I can understand higher up in the mountains but something tells me this winter is not going to be as mild as the last one.

I took the girls to netball this morning, I thought it was bloody snowing there today.  14c adjusted down to at least 10c for windchill factor and its only first weekend of May.

We took our daughter to netball, wasn't snowing at the time but the rain made her play indoors. Felt colder inside than outside, except for the wind chill.

Certainly does the wind chill had us sitting at 2.5 for most of the day!

Just got down to 29 at 8pm at night here. Not much chance of snow. At least it is only 34% humid which is unreal for us...Welcome the dry season

Got back from up Barrington about an hour ago, great day, snow from the Dingo gate, and thicker as you went further in, pulled into Pole Blue Camp ground for a play in the snow and a bite to eat.

Kids, 3 and 7 were very excited as they have never seen snow before, they made a snow man, and pelleted there old man with snow balls, great time had by all.

Vehicles everywhere, a bit like Pit St TBH, but great none the less.
