What mods are u planning on MT?
Predominantly the 12 volt side of things.
Auxiliary battery installation with rotary isolator switch.
I'll probably run a designated independent circuit for charging via the anderson on the back of the tug.
Panel meter ... +/- 20 amps.
12 volt outlets. A couple inside and maybe another outside. I'd like to put an anderson plug underneath the van, just forward of the front door (underneath the cupboard inside) for running any external power requirements. From that I'd run an extension of sorts.
Fit eyebolts near the roof corners for guy ropes (for those more extreme weather conditions).
I'm getting a custom made box for the front. To will fit between the gas bottle and the front of the van. It will only be around 200 deep (front to back), something like 250 high and between 1200-1400 wide. It can't be any higher than the gas bottle holder lock and I'd like enough room behind it for a 100mm pole holder (or 2). I've had it priced up, its not cheap but is high quality. The idea is to keep the winding handles, pegs and similar items in that rather than inside the van or vehicle. It'll work well I sure.
For our old Jayco I made a bumper bar incorporating a pole holder. It fitted into the chassis were an optional bumper would fit. The Swift (tourer) doesn't have that facility, as I tried in vain to get them to fit a rear bar. I'd still like to do something like that on this one. Not all that keen to alter the chassis design during the warranty period though.
There will be some fiddling with cupboards and such.
A removable carpet section for the step.
Fly screen for the door.
And lets not forget all that tinkering that needs to be done, theres always a lot of tinkering to do,
Tinker tinker tinker.
