Thumbs up MSA
« on: April 11, 2014, 04:45:25 PM »
It seems the week for good service stories.

I've got a new MSA (Michelle Sacs) spare tyre bag but I broke one of the buckles.

Emailed the MSA from their website and got a reply in about 10 mins from Mark H there asking for photo of the buckle so they can size it and that they would send me 2 new pairs of buckles to replace the 1 broken one :)

They turned up today!

Happy with that!
Thanks MSA..

Yep, another quality Aussie company and product. We have quite a few products from MSA and are extremely happy with all of them. Great to hear you are too Lost. I think I'll crack another beer and toast MSA.

Several years ago when MSA was W.A. based, we bumped into Michelle down at Augusta in the south west one easter, she commented on our rack sack and that they had made improvements on the older model and invited me to have the mods done free of charge, just to drop it into thier factory. Now thats service. :cup:

Recently purchased a full set of seat covers for the 200. A small section of stitching was coming apart where a small side Velcro tab fastened ( no big deal). Took seat cover back to TJM and MSA sent an entire second row set up just in case there was a slight colour difference in the canvas, which there wasn't, so happy days..

But...

It did take them three attempts to send me the correct small gear bag for the aircompressor hose..again no big deal..still happy..

Regards

Angus.

We too have nothing but great praise for MSA, we purchased their lumber support when they were first released, they have been giving great service for over 4 years. Only problem was that the rubber hoses appeared not to be UV stable and kept breaking down. Sent an email off to MSA asking if the bladder / hose was available as a spare part, received an email asking for a delivery address MSA sent not only two new bladders but also two complete lumbar inserts for nothing. Nothing but praise for this company and their aftersales service, even five to six years after the purchase.

The story continues...

The male one is the one that broke the first time. Bugger..  :'( :'(

Anyway MSA sent 2 NEW PAIRS of buckles..
All excited, I changed the flaccid male one and went to plug it in, and the female part exploded to hell with bits of it flying everywhere Ripped the sides right out of it.  I even think part of it shot the possum on the side fence outside the shed..
The new ones they sent were a touch different - the male was a touch thicker.. I didn't notice..

Quick email to MSA telling them the result  and then a phone call from MSA, no questions no nothing - but  they are arranging pickup from work in Colouredburn and arranging repairs at their joint in Qld and return to me - free of charge.  :cup: :cup: How ****in awesome is that! I almost don't believe it!

Top effort.. You don't get that sorta service much anymore!!!! Very rare for Qld companies to stand by their products for interstate people..
some companies are run by *****heads.

If only their drop down slides were within my price range :(

WOOHOO!

Lost,

Top stuff posting this up.

I've often looked at their gear and thought it looked good, as yet, I've never bought any, only because I didn't need to.

Knowing now the above good stories, I might just go and buy one of there tool rolls I've been eyeing off.

Good stuff.
