I thought it was time I stepped up and introduced myself and stopped being a lurker  ;D

My name's Chris (short for Christine) and my husbands name is Grant and we've been drooling over all the various hard floor campers and looks like we've decided on spoiling ourselves with the latest Aussie Swag Ultra D Camper Trailer... so I can finally go glamping instead of camping.

Hubby and I have previously camped our way all around Australia in a tent and also 1/2 way round in a caravan.  Now that we're living back over in the Pilbara region decided it was time to spoil ourselves with an off road camper so as we could get out and about and explore the region and beyond.

We just returned back tonight from a trip down to the Perth Caravan Camping Show and after checking out every camper and off road caravan we believe the Aussie Swag is the right choice for us.  It's a lot of money to outlay but after seeing all the various options available it's the one that seems perfect for us and for what we want to do :)

When we get our camper I'll be sure to share some pics of our camper and of some of the places we get out and about and explore in the Pilbara region and beyond.

I hope you don't mind if at times I ask questions and seek advice so as I can help make my camping experiences more fun and enjoyable.  My poor old hubby works long hours and doesn't have as much time to join in on the forum as I do.

Big thank you to all the member for sharing their experiences and mods of your campers as you've helped me make what I believe is going to be the right choice of the perfect camper for us.

Hi Chris & Grant, welcome to MySwag and congratulations you have made a good choice. We recently took delivery of an AS and believe it's the bees knees. Here is a link to a thread I put up about the Aussie Swag 2014.

Welcome to the Forum.

We have recently acquired an Aussie swag - Ultra G after investigations all brands and can't be happier with it.

We just spent the weekend at Deep creek in South Aus and could have sold another 2 there with the interest it generated.

Enjoy your travels.

Can't wait to test it out.  Had fun today putting together a kitchen kit, I've probably gone overboard but I'm sure I can eliminate and/or add to once we get to use it  :D

Thanks heaps everyone!  You sure do know how to make a girl feel welcome.

Good news and fingers crossed our camper will be here next week.  We've arranged with Bruce Avery Transport to pick up our camper from Perth and deliver it to us here in Port Hedland.  I only found out about Bruce Avery Transport from doing a search on this forum and finding and an old post referring to them about delivering a camper a few years ago.

MySwag sure is an awesome forum  ;D
