here ya go, here's a pic of my new / old work ute. i wasn't looking at getting a 4wd, but the wife's uncle passed away a few weeks ago and his wife was looking at getting rid of his old Maverick ute. it was in the price range i was looking at spending for a cheap as work ute, so i bought it off of her.

i bought some tool boxes for it on the weekend and quickly set about chopping into it with the angle grinder (wouldn't do that to a vehicle i cared about...lol). now has a couple of the boxes in the back and tomorrow arvo i'll hopefully change the clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder in it, and then start driving it to work and sell my builders trailer. the Cruiser can come off the road and have some much needed tender love and care, and get it ready for our hopefully 6 week trip to Tassie at the end of the year (if we ever pull our fingers out and start booking the ferry etc).
BEFORE

AFTER CUTTING (has a full metal roof and 50mm x 25mm box section welded in along the top, so it doesn't need the centre support)

AND NOW WITH ONE OF THESE EITHER SIDE IN THE BACK
