Navman and Hema maps
« on: February 26, 2014, 11:42:16 AM »
Have been looking for months on getting a new GPS with 4wd tracks.
My wife also requires a new GPS. She rang Navman and they offered to trade her old GPS and replace with a new one  with Hema 4wd maps . The upgrade is $169 and the 4wd maps $35.

"•Download some of Australia's great 4WD Tracks, courtesy of HEMA.
•Over 8,000 POIs - including Camp Grounds, 4WD Facilities and more
•Integrates with your device so you can navigate straight to your destination"

This sounds like a good deal ,can you give me your views.

I've got one of these I used to use before I got my Nexus7 with oziexplorer. Very basic and lack the detail but was pleasantly surprised some of the off road mapping they had. Anything is better than nothing at all but not a substitute for real mapping software
