Power for the Trip
« on: February 24, 2014, 06:25:17 PM »

For new members who have not done the Cape before the places we will be camping in the bush will be shady so solar panels won't be as efficient.

Maytown will have limited sunlight. 2 nights

Archer River is only overnight so you should have enough charge in the batteries.

Dulhunty River we will be camping in shade. 2 nights

Eliot Falls again shady campsites. 2 nights

Cotterall River shade and sun 2 nights.

Seisia has powered sites. 3 nights plus

So with this in mind members can decide whether to take their solar panels or a generator.

I will be leaving my solar panels at home and carry a 2kva Honda. Yes that dirty word generator. ;D

Remember Eliot Falls is a national park.

I hope this helps.

Mark

It's only a girly little Eu10i, but others are welcome to plug in as well.
