Heads up for cruiser owners
« on: February 21, 2014, 04:24:51 PM »

For the last couple of months the radio in the cruiser would not hold the memory for the stations. You would set them but once you turned the cruiser off they are lost.

Bugger new radio. Then last month the starter battery started playing. If the car sat for more than 2 days it would not start.

Off to get a new battery and hook it up. A day later took the cruiser to work set the radio stations and bingo all of sudden the memory is back and the stations are staying set and have been ever since.

Going on this the original battery was dying and could not keep the radio stations memory but yet could still kick over the cruiser for another month and a bit  ???.

So if your radio stops holding the stations in memory your battery is going flat.  ;D

Maybe my battery is flat as my memory is not as good as it was.
