Of interest, if they had a diesel version, I'd probably be driving one.

He was marooned in the snow and they had to keep warm! I still love them.

Hey, no car maker can match the fire you can get out of a Jeep.

ffffftttt, just a bunch of tryhards.

IT'S JEEP THING.

Hmmm, just thinking, the wife's out in ours now and she's insured for 1/2 a mil, plus, I get a payout on the Jeep.

Oh Lord, if ya gunna take her anyway, do it while I'm still young enough to enjoy her insurance payout.

I'm happy to be corrected but my understanding of the FJ was that it was a retro look of an earlier model i.e. our '82 LX on Moreton with the good woman at the helm around '86 from memory.
If that's the case the resemblance stops with the company name & the term FJ is short for "Freakin Joke". They are just pig ugly compared to my beloved old Bluey.

I don't mind the look of them except my Wife and Kids call them Lego cars.  Makes me laugh.  Would have to be diesel before I'd be interested though.

That's the understanding Steffo. But I am convinced there just retro copy of a international scout for the US market. The scout was very popular in the US, more so than original FJs were and the FJ cruiser looks closer to a scout than FJ IMO.
Here for a good time, not a long time!

Any resemblance to the old FJ ends at the front grill and mudguards, thank Christ! That's the reason why I want one, I mean, fair dinkum, I spent thousands of kms in FJ40s years ago, and would hate to go thru the same experience again!
