Spied this in the TV guide today

SBS One - 8.35pm Friday February 14.

Thought this may interest some.

I'll be watching that. I'd like to do a trip following their route and stopping where they camped. Would be good, I'll put it on the bucket list

This DVD covers it very well.  http://www.lifestylevideos.com.au/Burke-and-Wills-dvd.html  I was taught a lot about it at school many years ago but not in this much detail.

For some reason, Perth had both episodes one after the other last night. Nodded off during the first one, watched the second, agree it could have been much better done to emphasise the drama and tragedy of the whole business.

Cheers, Tony

I thought the same Al, ended up turning if off after the second half came on as he was back tracking all the time. But it was nice to see parts of the country where we have been

Have been told that Les Hidden, The Bush Tucker Man did a doco on Burke and Wills, maybe this one - The Great Misadventure The tale of Burke and Wills is re-evaluated and Les speculates how a knowledge of bush tucker may have changed the outcome of this ill-fated party.

Might have to do some searching to find it.

Yep, this was a bit of a disappointment, typical history channel crap with the series padded out with the same images, repeating everything after a break and very little detail. In fact you could of wrapped all the information presented from the two episodes into about 15 minutes. >:(
