Had the camper been in "excellent" condition I would have happily paid the 25K for it, some things hold their value very well and certain campers are in this field,
I can tell you when JK goes to sell his I will happily give him what he paid 10 yrs ago no question (hint hint JK)
but that is because the unit is in excellent condition, the issue was not what the previous owner paid it was the fact that he would not depreciate the item based on its condition.
When buying a 4x4 do you buy the one covered in sand and dents for the same price as an immaculate driven on weekends one ..I know which one i'd buy, apparently the sellers wife would have bought the well used one ..because then you know its been used as intended so she told me. as to why the million stone chips were not a factor affecting sale price.
all good though i scored a unit that ticks 3/4 of our wish list for 20k less
