Howdy from Emerald
« on: January 18, 2014, 10:49:40 PM »
Evening all,

I've been reading the forums for a while and I feel now I've got a camper in the garage I can join up and say hi!

I've got a Tanami Tvan that I'm towing with a Amarok.

I'm planning our first 'big' trip in July which I hope to get some advise from people here on.

Cheers

Emerald Qld, I forget there is one in Vic.  :D

So far it's great! I specifically got the Tvan to fulfil three desires; No canvas over the bed, small footprint set up to match truck, and go anywhere the truck could go.

I've got a few mods planned to make it more mine.

Welcome to MySwag Felixstowe. Where are you heading on your big trip?

I've started plotting a basic route. Starting in Brisbane, heading west, Birdsville track, Lake Eyre, Oonadatta track, Yulara, Alice, Finke, Plenty Hwy, Winton, Emerald (home).
