Co-pilot / Recovery Assistant vacancy (apply within)
« on: December 21, 2013, 10:37:58 AM »
Hi All,

Looks like my co-pilot can't make it again (last time I was lucky enough to find Tim and we are great mates now) ..... this is the second time Bugone has done it to me .... lol ..... at least I have lots of time to find a replacement this time. So if anyone is interested in a bit of hard work, a few cold beers and a big adventure send me a PM ;D If you have never done the Cape and are looking at doing it in the future by yourself this is a great way to get the lay of the land and work out what you do and don't want to do when you get up here next time.

The costs will be split 50/50 and you will need a stubby cooler and swag 8)

Here is an idea of what to expect.

Yogi forgot to add:

Must enjoy lying in dirt and mud when doing recoveries   :'(

Be able to carry 10 beers in one go when he is thirsty  ;D

Enjoy the odd beer or 20

Keep him warm at night  :-*

It will be an adventure you will never forget  :cup:

I'll gladly go with you Yogi, if there is no other starter.

But you must be the cook. I've seen your meals.

Ok looks like we have a taker for the co-pilot position ..... I would just like to thank all of the people who sent me PMs regarding the trip but unfortunately there can only be one (He who can line his ducks up first basically). Keep an eye out because if McGirr keeps organising trips when my wife can’t have leave then there will be future opportunities .... Lol .... I will let the member in question identify themselves should they feel the need ;D Or you can just wait till we all meet up in Cairns to find out who !!!!

Thanks
