No action on the Mirage facebook page since before Christmas but a new post this morning.  Interesting reading.  Another side to the story.  Oh, and I have no interest either way.

Unfortunately on the 26/3/14 we had a workshop fire

They can predict the future, best leave this one alone for now.

Don't use Facebook, so was not aware of the comment. I would have thought that you would put the same comment on your Web page as that it the initial point of contact for many....

Hi Guys,
Increasingly there seems to be that our community use social media as a vendetta and agro site rather than to pass on information.  I am no expert on these matters but I would think if the two parties have issues then they should resolve them in private.  I own a property business and when (and we do) have issues with clients we don't take it to Facebook or any other means to flush out our problems.  I think the response from Mirage RV was polite without being too nasty.  I have seen the Prestige Site and I Like their products, but I am a bit concerned about the ongoing nastiness that seems to be coming from them.

Not taking sides, just seems to me that this stuff should be kept in house.

I think the camper looks awesome, not just another Chinese imports that says it's Ozzie Made  WEB site is a bit crappy though,

I have UEV-490 Love it.  Not without it's problems though!!

Does anyone know who the new Vic Distributor Is?

So many edited posts in this thread and a few first time posters...

Jumped on my partners Facebook and checked out their page.  It might just be me, but quite a few of the replies from their 'fans' seem a bit over the top, almost like friends and family replies.

This is getting very interesting!!!....seems this guy is upsetting people left right and centre. Its a shame because they look like great trailers..

The Kart trailer looks awesome too...

Hi All
Just new to this MS.org

I have had a Mirage for 8 months. I got one of the first CP campers. Had a few issues but nothing too serious. Battery failed and one of the LEDs stopped working inside. Had it fixed pretty quick too. I have just heard about the Fire. Booked in to have a couple of upgrades. Got a message back they are moving into a new factory.

Anyone know any more?

Judd

I wonder if this Judd is the same Judd/George Leamey on the kartbook forum??

As this is a forum on which to share your camper trailer experiences for the betterment of everyones experience, insist on a COD arrangement, I wish I had.  :-[

Without prejudice, mods delete if not comfortable with this.

As written on Mirage RV FB page.

hi guys
As you are probably aware by now MirageRV has been under attack from a vendetta instigated by prestige off road in Melbourne and their minions.
Normally we would not allow ourselves to get dragged into such matters but as social media is such a powerful tool for disparaging by others we thought it might be time to respond.
What we can say to all of loyal friends and supporters is that there is always two sides to every story.
prestige off road did order two campers, they decided not to pay the balance of their order on their custom built campers when ready for dispatch. Legal action has then followed. We have been contacted this week a few times by the owner of prestige off road citing that he is having difficulties . Our thoughts are with them at this time.
Interestingly enough sitting back watching the events unfold on social media I can conclude that there are instigators and then followers who jump on the bandwagon because their lack of intelligence doesn't afford them the luxury of knowing any better.
Unfortunately on the 26/3/14 we had a workshop fire as a result some camper items have been lost and production has slowed until we have moved into bigger and brighter premises about two doors down from where we are currently.
We estimate about 10 days to set up and the were back into the thick of it again. We have a long forward order book and MirageRV would like to personally thank all the families, that are staying with us in our current situation. Families who have decided to move on we wish them happy camping. We are constantly looking to improve everything we do when it comes to the quality of our campers and products and we believe MirageRV campers to be up there with the best in the camper market.
Our intention is to invite all of current families to our new premises for a tour when we are set up for having faith in us will receive a gift to go with their brand new MirageRV camper.

Hi, anyone who is interested in a copy of the correspondence sent to MirageRV that they refer to here should PM me. Will not it post on the forum unless the Mods ask in the interest of member knowledge. I hope MirageRV acknowledge that they opened this can.
