Hey Guys,

I have just moved to Hillcrest is SA. Just wondering if there are any recommended tyre places around the area?

Give this mob a go. They are not in Adelaide, but they beat Adelaide prices hands down.

Ozzy Tyres

I've bought 2 sets of tyres from them now. Excellent to deal with.

Hey there,

I had a look at that link, and they are definitely good prices. Just need to remember to add the fitting and balancing costs.

When i needed tyres (in Adelaide at the time) i phoned 9 tyre shops and went with the best price. The range of prices were $285 to $360 each. Bob Jane happened to be the one i went with.
So jump on the phone and get some quotes.
In my case, Bob Jane fitted and balanced would still work out cheaper than if i used Ozzy

Cheers
John
Another awesome forum.... now i'll never get to bed :D

Your right, it doesn't include fitting and balancing, I get that done for nicks, so probably add around $25/tyre.

I just got tyres from bob jane in the city, their prices were very good. I got LT d697 in 265/70 R16 for $230 each fitted.

Welcome to inner NE Adelaide

I have always bought my tires from City Discount Tires at Prospect (I think they have rebranded all City Discount Tires to simply 'CDT').

Not always the cheapest but I've always found them knowledgable, friendly and more than happy to honour there lifetime free tire balance and rotation (every 5,000-10,000km depending on the vehicle - the Pajero is every 5,000km).
