Super stoked.  After a couple of years of drooling at those things, and wishing and saving, we put a deposit down on a 2000 Goldstream Wing II.  Pick up on Wednesday.

Canvas and fridge replaced two years ago, and very tidy.  Got it from a local Jayco dealer as it was a trade-in from interstate, so gets new 12 months rego, + new bearings etc.  So stoked.

This Jan will be our first holiday not in a tent, having to rely on ice and an eski, so our ability to free camp will be greatly enhanced.  The kids are just as excited as us adults, which is nice too.

Now to get a brake controller and Anderson plug into the Prado.

Woot!  Woot!  Woot!  Can you tell I'm happy?

Congrats guys, we've also just converted from 30years of tents to a CT and it's brilliant.  You'll love it. Comfy bed the best.
My only word of guidance is don't throw out all of your eskies.  In our case, Mrs scarps still likes ice in her bourbon and coke:-) so we still keep a small one on hand.

Well done.  They're a great unit.  Small to tow but plenty of room once set up, and lots of storage.

Oh dear, now only picking up next Monday, so the impromptu trip away this weekend will have to wait.

Brickiematt, Snug would feel like cheating.  Plus the fact that I could hop on my bicycle and ride home tells me there's not enough distance from home to count. Will have to go where there's no power or water on tap to enjoy the full benefit!
