Hi guys, just purchased anz Oztent RV5 and was wondering how people store them at home? Do they lay them flat or stand them up?

What would you prefer, if you were doing nothin for 6 months would you rather stand in a corner or lie on a shelf?  8)

As a starting point I once read somewhere that you should never leave canvas items like tents and swags on a concrete floor in a shed. The bottom will get damp.  My tent (a blackwolf turbo) sits on top of something else in the shed and the swag is stored in the house. Good luck with the oztent it's a big bag.

I would think the best storage is fully erected.  So you'd need to build a shed to cover the tent....

I have mate who lays his on a couple of blocks wood on his shed floor. He's done it this way for few years now, he uses it with us a bit and its never looked like it was degrading in anyway.

Food for thought.
