An interesting design; came across these today - http://www.opuscamper.com/

Looks like they'll be available here at some point - http://www.opuscamper.com/uncategorized/opus-down-under/

There was an Opus stand with these units at the Sandown Leisurefest a few weeks ago.  They looked to be taking orders.

I quite like the look and concept of this one. I assume they will be manufactured in the UK and shipped out here or maybe sent here in kitset form and assembled here. It does'nt appear to be off road capable though.

I like it.

It would be great to be able to get the camper part and put it on a conventional offroad trailer chasis.

Absolutely Nomad, i don't think it would be very hard to convert it for off road use.
Perhaps the manufacturers could consider making an off road version for the Aussie market as
it could be quite a seller.

An old thread but I think worth revisiting.

Aussie website http://www.opuscamper.com.au/ with Aussie built off-road chassis.

I like the concept myself, as does the boss.

That type of  design has been around in England and America in one form or another since the 50's, so everything old becomes new again ...
Look up Conway Cardinal for UK and for a modern take on the old Yank version Life time campers .
