Looks like it's the Roosters for Premiers 2013
« on: October 06, 2013, 08:09:07 PM »
76 mins on the clock, 26 - 18 looks like the 2013 NRL Premiership is stitched up. The last try was a ripper :cup: what an effort.
Well done roosters :cup:

As long as manly got flogged it will be a good day.

but can anyone tell me the point of a scrum anymore?? I played footy back in the dark ages, and a scrum had meaning.

i didn't have a problem with him winning the medal. he may have been on the losing team, but i thought he had a fantastic game and couldn't think of anyone myself that played better then he did, over the entire period of the game.

It may be hard for you to comprehend but its an award for best on field, and it just so happened that more astute judges of the game than yourself deemed the young DCE to be the best player on the field, quite simple when you think about it.

yeah got to admit, i was a bit peeved that the medal went to the loosing side..........but then when I thought, who on the Roosters would you have given it to, there was no real standout performance, so happy the Daly got it........was taking bets with the wife that they would just give it to SBW by default, so glad I lost that bet and it actually went to someone deserving.

Wonder how Daly feels about it though, it would be very hard to celebrate it.
Cheers, Craig

Hem, ur 100% right there mate, very big day spent in the man cave, with my little mate up until well after the game finished, very sweet indeed, I hope Kate enjoyed it as much as I did.

Keep the faith with the Eels they will come good.

Regards Swanny

Let’s hope the refs get their game together next year.  I must admit I use to love the game, but this year I have been put right off and did not even watch the final.  I know they will make mistakes, as we all do, but they are professionals and some of their decisions this year were really bad ones, right up into the finals.  :'(  Kevin

No Lost, there is no point. Made mention myself as a Union Player (When I was young and terrific - no really I was 8))

It was funny to hear one of the commentators say - " oh, they nearly packed down"  ;D

Great All Black - SA game though and really well reffed except the ruck infringement by Liam, that was not a Yellow. Franks needed to go but.

Best game of Rugby I have seen since I played and was really good  ;D ;D ;D ;D
