What would you choose between? Either the ryobi 2000w for $799 or the Kipor 2000w for $998
a used Honda. or solar panels.
Yep. I have both, and the Honda stays in the shed.
yes but you do have a solar array to rival my house set-up when they are not broken Don't be hard on Big G the panels don't like him as all he dose is leave them in the hot sun while he drinks coldies

I have a EU10 Honda and don't use it, I've been thinking about selling it to buy panels but I keep thinking what if we lose power for an extended period, at least I can keep the fridges going...
Sorry I meant the fridges in the house...
OK. I'm keeping mine, too. Never know when it might be handy. That's what Kay has said about you
how often does the power go out for more than at tops an hour these days.. Thought you'd have solar panels on the Taj
When the Power supply stops, any solar input is cut too!
What he said....We have a Honda EU20 in the CT for running everything and a Honda EU10 on the boat. (the one on the boat just runs the microwave and battery chargers)

Its a little one called a Tippen or something like that. The Regal boat people fit them to their boats, at least, they did when ours was new back in 2006.Check out Hash Converters for a cheap microwave, i bought one a few years ago for our office for about $25.00 i think. It was most likely sold to them by someone who didn't own it, but it worked for me.
